The history and culture of Lucerne from medieval times to the present, with a private guide
With the historical wall and 9 towers still standing, the infamous Kapellbrücke and the gothic spires of the Hofkirche you almost feel like you stepped back in time. If you enjoy history then Lucerne is the proverbial jackpot. Come take a step back in time and envision how life was in 1290 when Switzerland was born. Learn how Luzern played a vital role in the birth of Switzerland as we know it. We will experience the highlights of the city and discover some lesser-known points of interest according to your interests.
During the tour we can climb some of the original 9 towers along the old fortified wall for a beautiful birds-eye view of the city, the lake and a look into the Alps. Along the way we can enjoy a gelato to enjoy as we walk around town exploring all that the city of Lucerne has to offer.
